Brilliant yet simple, easy and clean designed interface of yet another great work of uRexsoft . The main interface looks pretty simple and what more importantly, easy to understand to get started. However, one point to note this time is that they added in a Samsung phone image in their interface instead of iPhone. A program designed specially for the iPhone (at least based on the name of the software) with a Samsung Phone as the cover is not pleasant and somewhat quite disappointing in my point of view.

As shown in the image above is the program main interface, where you will notice that there is an option to set the setting of your output file as well as its video and audio setting. After choosing your desired phone model and got the DVD ready, it will automatically set a default output settings for you. So basically you need not worry about the settings especially for the inexperienced or not-so-advanced user. If you were to insert the wrong disc other than a DVD, it will pop up a "No DVD title(s) found. Maybe not a Valid DVD" message to notify user. Apart from using a DVDs, you are also able to convert in ISO file format.
Converting
uRex iPhone DVD Ripper allows user to rip from both the iso file format as well as in DVDs. During testing, I use the previously used video (the same video used on uRex iPhoneVideo Converter test) that are about 1 minute and 42 length long. Unfortunately, when the output was set to the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 settings, the conversion speed started to slow down and it took me around 12 minutes to convert the 1 minute plus DVD, which is not as fast as I expected. However, when the output setting was set to the iPhone 3G setting, the speed slightly improve and this time it only took me about 1 minute to complete the process. Never-the-less, it is still a great conversion software with quite some impressive feature especially the ability to remove all copy encryption and region locks. Besides, what matter most (for me at least) is that it actually does it job pretty well as what it promised.

There even a huge instruction on the top right hand corner guiding new user on how to get started. Once a media file was added, you can then easily manage the video and do all the editing in no time. Other than that, it also allowing a preview of final output beside showing the exact file size of the to-be converted media file which help the whole process to be even more easier and convenient.

If you observed properly on the conversion screen and interface, you will be able to find the output settings which you can edit as you wanted it to be at ease. At first glance, it might look quite confusing (well for new user at least) and complicated. However, after you choose your desired output profile (Phone model that you using), the software will help automatically helps you to choose the best and suitable setting for your particular phone. Apart from converting, you can also view the clip on the left hand side of the main interface, or click on "Clip" next to the "Remove" button. Also, you are also able to use it to merge,crop or even add a effect to the video.
Converting
For the unregistered version user, a watermark will be seen on your output video after conversion whereas for registered user there will be no watermark on the final output. While converting, it will play your video as if it is going through slow motion. When I was converting a video to a iPhone 4S playable video, the conversion completed when the video finished played/preview. In my opinion, it was definitely faster and on par with most of its other comparable product available, but somewhat it could have been better if the conversion able to be finished faster. However, when I convert it with iPhone (1st generation) profile, the conversion rate actually perform faster than the previous video (iPhone 4S)! I might as well assume that it convert slower for iPhone 4S due to the difference of the resolution and encoder of the video output.
The low point of of the software is that you actually does not have the option to specify or decide how many CPU memory the program are allowed to used (quota) and put a certain priority on it

As stated above, both the popular μTorrent and BitTorrent application had gone from freeware to shareware (paid version software) recently. But fret not, cause today I am going to guide you on how to obtain their Plus version for free! Simply follow the instruction and your free uTorrent/BitTorrent Plus will be ready in no time!
